Trying to juggle getting in your hours on the slopes, working out the logistics of ski lessons and pick-up, as well as finding time for a relaxed, sun-soaked lunch on a mountain terrace or a few drinks at one of the many après bars in town, can all be difficult with children in tow. How does your After-Ski Kids Club work?
Our afternoon kids club is in collaboration with the local ski schools. It’s perfect for little ones who are keen skiers but perhaps too young to do a full day of skiing. Whether they spend the morning in ski school or exploring the mountains with their family, we can collect them from the ski school pick up location directly from their instructor, or from you. We’ll take them back to our base in the centre of town and provide them with a two-course hot lunch. They’ll then spend the afternoon doing outdoor activities and playing games in the snow (weather dependent!), followed by games, arts and crafts back at our base before pick up. Kids Club starts at midday and runs until 4pm and is suitable for children aged 3 to 6.
What is your Ski Nanny?
Our ski nanny is the best of both worlds; a private ski instructor to take your little ones out on the snow for the morning, whether it’s their first ski or if they have a few winters under their belt, as well as an afternoon of high quality childcare. We know it can be over whelming for children to meet lots of new people, so our ski nanny gives your child complete continuity of care throughout the day. Our ski nanny has all of the training, qualifications and experience needed to provide a full day of fun, both on and off the slopes!
Do you offer private nannies and babysitting?
Yes! Private nannies can be booked for a one-off day/afternoon, or for the entirety of your stay. Our nannies come prepared with games, toys, activities and excellent knowledge of the resort. For week-long bookings we will organise a pre-meet the evening before the booking commences so that both you and your children can meet our nanny and discuss the plan for the week, plus any essential information.
We also provide evening babysitting so that you can go out and enjoy the many après bars and restaurants that Verbier has to offer. If you’d like to go out and enjoy the nightlife, then we don’t request a specific end time so that you can enjoy your night without worrying about a curfew!
What training and qualifications do your nannies have?
All of our nannies are first aid trained, fully insured, police checked, reference checked, highly experienced, trained in Verbier and are English-speaking. Additionally, our ski nannies are fully qualified and experienced ski instructors.
