Our choice of rosé is always a much anticipated, hot topic at the start of the season. As you know, a luxury holiday in Verbier is not complete without a large glass of rosé to enjoy whilst watching the sunset from one of our stunning chalets.
New for winter 2021/22 we are delighted to announce our partnership with Chateau Léoube, an exclusive organic wine producer in Provence and the sister company of our nearby luxury brands here in the Cotswolds, Daylesford & Bamford. Our choice of rosé is Love by Léoube – Côtes de Provence rosé.
Nestled in a coastal bay in Provence, a stone’s throw from St Tropez, lies the Léoube estate. One of the most beautiful protected sites in Europe and home to Chateau Léoube, the estate includes 65 hectares of organic vineyards, sprawling 4km of coastline.
Love by Léoube is an elegant blend of mainly Grenache & Cinsault, this pale salmon pink coloured wine is a quintessential, dry Provence rosé. The nose is powerfully charming with mixed notes of red fruits and light citrus fruit characters. Showing a lively palate, full of white peaches, red apples and morello cherries, all brought together with a lovely fresh acidity. A well balanced rosé with a delicious finish, perfect for any occasion.
