James, or Dougie as he’s known to most of us, is our half Swedish Viking who always wears his beaming smile! Having spent his first winter as a ski instructor in Åre, Sweden, he joined our resort driving team in 2013, intending on doing one more season after university. Four winter seasons later, he finished as the General Manager of Chalet Chouqui in 2017!
Being part of our senior in-resort management team for so many winters, James’ (Dougie’s) intimate knowledge of the resort and little black book of insider contacts means that he can organise anything from last-minute New Year’s Eve tickets to the Farm Club, to a heli picnic on a remote mountain peak to sourcing your favourite bottle of Bordeaux. Dougie is passionate about creating the holiday that’s perfect for you and nothing is ever too much trouble.
A keen sportsman, cyclist and rower, Dougie has completed a half Ironman. Tom and Dan are delighted to welcome Dougie’s sports knowledge into the UK office, he can always be relied upon to know the latest cricket score!
