If there’s a special occasion to celebrate during your stay, be it a big birthday, a proposal or an anniversary, you can be certain that we will take care of every detail. We aim to make once in a lifetime memories by arranging amazing heli-ski tours, parapenting flights or family walks with the famous St Bernard dog, Nimba. Before you arrive, you can have a phone call with your chef to ensure they have a full grasp of your tastes and to plan your menus in more detail. From a beautifully decorated birthday cake to a themed dinner, our chefs will help make your stay one to remember. Airport Transfers: We have worked with our trusted partners at AlpineXpress for many years because we know they provide the best vehicles and service. Their drivers are experienced and well trained and know where all our chalets are, some of which are tricky to access if you’re not used to them. They automatically update our management team with chalet arrival times and if you arrive in resort before your 4pm check in time, they will be happy to drop you at a restaurant and take your luggage to be stored securely with the team at the chalet, making the start of your holiday as relaxing and seamless as possible.
Ski lessons or a guide: Whether you’re a first-time skier or have been for years, there is always something to improve on. We work with Performance and we always recommend booking one of their incredible private instructors for even just your first morning whilst you get your ski legs back or perhaps your second day to show you the best slopes across the 4 Vallees and guide you down the challenging terrain. Perhaps you have mastered on-piste skiing and would like to experience the infamous backcountry across Verbier? Performance have a sister company, Powder Extreme, who are qualified to take you off-piste and into the champagne powder fields.
For group lessons, we work with Altitude Ski School who cater for all abilities and ages. Their Polar Bear group is great for children aged 3-5 and will teach them all the basics whilst they can also accommodate teenagers who are mastering their parallel turns or need some extra confidence on the red runs.
Why not try snowboarding? Our partners at Vivid offer private lessons which are customised to the individual to help you get the most out of your lesson as well as group lessons to meet like-minded riders and work on your technique. Their freeride instructors will show you the mountain’s best spots of world-class off-piste and help you ride on any terrain. Ski Equipment Rental: Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, having the highest quality equipment and the perfect fit is essential for optimising performance and giving guaranteed comfort. We work in close partnership with Mountain Air who offer Verbier’s largest fleet of rental skis and snowboards. Their fitters’ experience and expertise is first class and, because we have worked with them for many years, they always go the extra mile for our guests.
Many of our guests want to hit the slopes straight away and so for a small charge, you can pre-order your equipment ahead of arrival on-line and the Mountain Air team will deliver your equipment and fit it in the comfort and privacy of your chalet. Having said that, the Mountain Air store is well worth a visit to not only see the large range of rental equipment available, but also to visit their shop. You can expect the latest range of ski and snowboard equipment, ski clothing from the world’s top ski brands, as well as helmets and a range of safety equipment. They also offer a World-renowned boot fitting service where they discuss with you your skiing ability as well as the ergonomics of your feet, to help choose the correct boot shell and liner system before moulding the boots to your feet.
Childcare: Whilst we value quality family time, we have to address that holidays are for relaxation and a time to de-stress and so we work closely with Petit Verbier to ensure you have the time to explore the mountain and Verbier town whilst knowing that your children are in the best hands. Petit Verbier offer a range of services, from private nannies, to after ski kids club and evening babysitting and they know where all the fun events and activities are around resort. With fully qualified nannies with years of experience, you can be rest assured your child will be cared for safely and professionally whilst having lots of fun.
Massages: Talking of relaxation, what better way than having a massage? Massage 1936 have amazing qualified masseuses that can offer a relaxing Swedish style massage to aid rejuvenation or a deep sports massage to target your tired ski muscles. There’s no need to leave your cosy chalet, Massage 1936 will come to you and create a zen atmosphere and soothe those aches and pains.
New for 23/24 winter season, we are working with a luggage delivery service designed to eliminate the stress from your ski holiday. First Luggage will deliver your luggage from your home to your chalet, allowing you to move swiftly through the airport. At the end of your stay, you can simply leave your luggage in the chalet to be returned safely to your home. Or, if you are fortunate enough to be able to continue your adventure elsewhere, we can simply ship it on to your next destination! You can arrange this for any of your holidays, ski or sun, here.
We are also proudly working with Cirkel Supply who offer a sustainable clothing rental service. When you only ski for one or two weeks a year, ski wear will often be left in your wardrobe for months on end and it becomes a costly endeavour for ever-growing children. Cirkel Supply will deliver your ski clothes in time for your arrival, helping you cut down on luggage, provide top brands to offer high quality gear and keep up with fashionable trends whilst reducing your impact on the environment.
