Dan graduated from Exeter University with a first-class maths degree in 1999. He then took a year out and travelled to Nepal where he taught English in a remote village. The basic conditions were in stark contrast to those in Verbier but it sparked a love for travel which Dan still holds today.
Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 2004, Dan started work at the Lloyds Banking Group. As Financial Systems manager in the Life Assurance & Pensions division he went on to manage process mergers between Halifax Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank.
Dan moved to Switzerland in 2012 having never skied before but he loved life in the alps and made Verbier his home for 6 years. While in Verbier, Dan found a passion for road cycling as well as skiing. Now CFO, Dan is back in the UK but continues to spend his free time in the saddle and regularly competes in races in the UK and Switzerland. Dan has also started cycle touring and recently returned from Belgium where he cycled the route of the Tour de Flanders.
Dan is also a keen runner and has completed both the Chicago and Berlin marathons as well as numerous half marathons across the UK.
