Things to do in Mallorca

Top 10 things to do in Mallorca

1. Explore the Historic Pollensa Old Town
Wander through the charming cobblestone streets of Pollensa’s Old Town, adorned with quaint cafes, boutique shops, and centuries-old architecture. Stop for a quick coffee or any one of the day’s meals at one of the cafes or restaurants on the square. Ascend the famous 365 Calvari steps if you are able to and you will be rewarded with great panoramic views towards the sea at the top!

2. Visit Cala Sant Vicenç
Just a short drive from Pollensa lies Cala Sant Vicenç, a serene coastal area boasting crystal-clear waters, secluded coves and three beaches, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. A great spot for snorkelling, scuba diving and kayaking. There are also some great restaurants on the beach and in the town.

3. Hike the Tramuntana Mountains
Lace up your hiking boots and embark on a scenic trek through the Tramuntana Mountains, offering panoramic views of the island’s rugged terrain. Puig Major is the highest peak in both Mallorca and the Balearic Islands at 1,436 metres above sea level.

4. Sail to Formentor
Charter a private yacht or join a guided boat tour to explore the stunning coastline of Cap de Formentor, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, lighthouse and hidden beaches, as well as the prestigious Hotel Formentor. Our team will be delighted to help you arrange this with our trusted partners in Mallorca.

5. Indulge in Gastronomic Delights
Sample authentic Mallorcan cuisine at renowned restaurants such as Ca’n Costa, where local flavours are elevated to gourmet heights. We are always happy to help make recommendations but two of our favourite recommendations are Respira in Pollensa and Ses Coves restaurant just outside Campanet. Try La Mar Dolsa cafe and bakery in Pollensa for specialty coffees, tea infusions and delicious artisan sweet treats!

6. Discover Palma de Mallorca
Take a day trip to the vibrant capital city of Palma, just a 45 minute drive away and home to historic landmarks like the La Seu Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace. For the shoppers, Palma is well known for it’s luxury boutique shops and designer shops and some of our guests like to extend their stay with a night or two at a hotel in Palma to explore more before or after their flight.

7. Relax on Playa de Muro
Bask in the sun on the pristine shores of Playa de Muro, a 6 km long tranquil beach known for its soft golden sands and clear azure waters. The calm shallow waters make it ideal for families too!

8. Cycle the Mallorcan Countryside
Rent a bike and pedal your way through the idyllic countryside surrounding Pollensa, passing through charming villages and lush vineyards on the famed roads of the Mallorca 312 cycling and Ironman Mallorca triathlon events. Mallorca welcomes cyclists of all ages, abilities and styles too – from lycra-clad ‘roadies’ and once a year tourers, to those just getting from A to B or doing their shopping.

9. Explore the Local Area and Immerse yourself in the Local Culture
Immerse yourself in Mallorca’s rich cultural heritage with visits to art galleries, traditional markets, and live music performances. We would recommend a day trip to Soller, Port de Soller and Deia – with one of the highlights being travelling there on a stunning 100 year old train from Palma de Mallorca, built in the year 1912. Dive into the many boutique shops and seafront restaurants with stunning ocean views.

10. Unwind in your Luxury Villa
How could we not suggest this! After (or perhaps instead of) a day of adventure, retreat to your luxury villa in Mallorca, where you can enjoy the luxury of space, your private pool and panoramic views of the Tramuntana Mountains, whilst your brilliant Chef and Villa Host look after you.
