Winter season has come to a close and we have waved off the last guests and said goodbye for now to our wonderful seasonal staff. It has been a truly sensational winter, skiing in Verbier it has been a standout year for excellent weather: over 618 cm of snow and 76 days of snowfall this season. This has meant a long season with great snow cover, even on the last day of the lifts open there was fresh snow and powder on the pistes.
This year was the first year for Chalet Teredo, a stunning chalet brand new to the portfolio. With its breathtaking pool area and incredible views from the living areas, guests have been wowed by its extremely comfortable and luxurious interior and serene, private setting. It was also our first year of operating Chalet Daphne, a self-catered chalet in a prime location! Our guests have loved the convenience of the location as well as the stylish interior. Many Daphne guests have commented on the amazing service we provide, offering the full concierge service and driving service even in a self-catered chalet. We are so proud of our collections of chalets and apartments and Teredo and Daphne have slotted in comfortably.
We have had over 50 seasonal staff this season who have helped guests get to over 2400 hours of ski lessons, baked over 1000 cakes and popped over 635 bottles of Champagne! With over 33% of our seasonal staff returning this year is an incredible reflection of how much fun people find working a season for us and want to do it all over again! Guest feedback has been truly impressive with an NPS score of 92.1 which is truly a reflection of all the hard work the team has put in. Now as we are in the shoulder season, we are busy getting the chalets ready for a beautiful summer! We work hard to ensure chalet improvements are done, so in the pipeline we have new hot tubs, refreshed spa areas, beautiful fabrics selected to update furnishings… the list goes on! We work with owners to ensure the chalets maintain their exceptional standards and continue to wow guests every year.
The famous Verbier festival, E-Bike festival, Yoga Festival and more. Verbier is spoilt for choice with the amount of activities it offers! Famous Swiss cows with their bells fill the meadows, the mountain snow melts away opening up paths to high altitude lakes and the bisses fill with water, beckoning you to come and enjoy the Alpine fresh air, incredible scenery and many hiking and biking trails whilst staying in one of our luxury properties.
